Worship Style
We’re very serious, but not somber, about worshipping God. And because we know that God never gives up on us, we can face  our faults and failures hope and self-understanding; so our worship is fun, interesting, and relaxed.

The Episcopal denomination has always been a bridge between the Roman Catholic and Protestant wings of the Church. Like the Roman Catholics, our Bishops trace their ordination back to Christ through the Twelve Apostles. We celebrate the 7 traditional sacraments; we celebrate the Holy Eucharist (Mass) with vestments & beauty each Sunday.

Like the Protestants, however, our clergy (Deacons, Priests, & Bishops) can marry. We encourage appropriate birth control. Bible readings and sermons are central to our worship. The Sermons are not times in which our Pastors tell the Baptized what to believe and how to behave, but as a chance for us to learn how Christians in other ages and cultures have tried to live out their faith in God.

This helps us make wiser, holier and more creative decisions about how we will follow Christ today.
