Helping Others
Helping Others:
We don’t believe that we’re here to endure life and then escape to heaven. We believe that we’re here to do what Jesus did: trust God with our whole heart and to love ourselves and our neighbors equally and well. So, like Jesus we seek to feed the hungry (physically & spiritually), free the captives (physically & spiritually), heal the sick (physically & spiritually), and teach everyone how the enjoy a full and meaningful life .
Programs:
Food Pantry/Shelter
We provide and serve food at 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month. Please feel free to join us. We also collect non perishable goods for the shelter.
Saint Paul’s Shelter

Regency Gardens Nursing Center

Heifer Foundation
Our Sunday school teacher and students started a program which they call Noah’s Ark. This program was put in place to teach the children, the congregation and our neighbors about global poverty and how we can help. With the funds raised over the course of the year, farm animals and trees are purchased through Heifer International, an organization dedicated to eradicating global poverty and hunger. Children and families around the world receive training and animal gifts that help them to become self-reliant.
Episcopal Relief and Development Fund
Each day, we set aside money for The Episcopal Relief and Development Fund. Rather than sending outside aid into crisis situations around the world, we support local churches, both in their emergency ministries and in their longer-term development.
Facilities:
We are pleased to open our parish hall rent free to Vestry-approved worthy, charitable causes like Twelve Step Groups and Scout troops.
We have also extended the use of our facilities to the Spanish-speaking Iglseia Pentecostal de Jesucristo Aliento de Vida, which meets on Sunday afternoons.
