About Us If you are seeking a closer relationship with Jesus, we invite you to visit us.The little red church on the corner of Totowa Rd. and Grant Ave. in Totowa Borough was built in 1927. We offer two services on Sunday of the Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper, or Mass whatever you want to call this great Mystery is fine with us) at 8:00 and 10:00am. Both services include a Bible-based sermon, with music at the 10:00 service led by our pipe organ or baby-grand piano—we sing joyously. We believe that there are four essentials element in Christian life—worship, growth in grace, fellowship, and ministry. On this page you’ll hear a bit about our worship schedule, educational programs, the ways we support one another, and how we seek to share the love of Christ. Other pages will tell you more about how we live out our life in Christ. Each Lent, we gather for special classes. And we provide a University sponsored on-going Bible study. Our Pastor is also happy to recommend books for your individual study. We are a friendly group who enjoy each other and our visitors. Our worship is beautiful, liturgical, but relaxed with seasonal vestments. We use “visitor-friendly” liturgical booklets making it easy to follow the service. All our members take an active part in our services, and we enjoy refreshments together with our guests following the 10:00am service. Our outreach to the community includes inexpensive suppers which have a reputation for being mouth-watering good. We have extended the use of our facilities to the rapidly growing Spanish-speaking population of Totowa and its environs…the Iglseia Pentecostal de Jesucristo Aliento de Vida meets on Sunday afternoons. Beyond the immediate community, we provide food for the hungry in the Paterson area by collecting canned and packaged foods for St. Paul’s Pantry Shelf in Paterson, serve supper once a moth at their Men’s Shelter, and celebrate communion with the residents at Regency Retirement Home in Wayne once a month. Included in this website you’ll find pictures of some of our activities. This is our first time on the web, so when you visit us, please let us know you met us through the site, and please let us know how we can improve your experience and welcome. God bless.
